UNLAWFUL INTERCOURSE WITH A MINOR

On 31 October 2016, at approx. 7:41 pm, the Sonora Police Department received a report concerning suspected unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 18. The juvenile’s mother told police that she discovered concerning information on social media sites. The juvenile was determined to be a 16 year old male.

During the investigation, the officer learned that there had been an on-going sexual relationship between the adult female suspect and the victim for several months. The female suspect in the case was identified as 38 year old Kimberly Ramirez of Sonora.

As a result of the investigation Ramirez was placed under arrest and booked on felony charges of Sexual Intercourse with a Minor. Certain aspects of this investigation are on-going.
