Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Assistance Needed

The Sonora Police Department is asking for your help identifying a man and a woman associated with a stolen vehicle.

On March 12, 2017, at around 7:20 p.m., the Sonora Police Department received information regarding a stolen blue tailgate on a white Dodge pick-up truck, parked in front of the Downtown Plaza Laundromat. Officers arrived on scene and located the unoccupied truck backed into a parking stall. After further investigation the officer determined the 2005 Dodge Ram had been stolen out Mariposa on February 19th. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of drug paraphernalia, burglary tools and a Chihuahua puppy which was left behind by the suspects.

The officer discovered that the two persons associated with the truck had purchased items from Save Mart a couple of hours earlier. If anybody has any information about the two subjects seen in these photos, they are asked to contact the Sonora Police Department.
