Re: CHP Range Contract
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends that the Sonora City Council approve the attached range contract with the California Highway Patrol.
BACKGROUND:
Historically the California Highway Patrol has entered into an agreement with the City of Sonora to use the City gun range. The present contract is set to expire this fiscal year.
DISCUSSION:
The
California Highway Patrol wishes to continue to use the City gun range. The new
contract is for three years in the amount of $2,050 per year, $6,150 over the
three year agreement.
