Burglary – Requesting Your Assistance

We are asking for your help identifying suspects in a Monday morning burglary.

Early Monday morning, just before 7:00 a.m., the Sonora Police Department received a call of a suspected burglary in progress.  The caller reported seeing two males removing yard maintenance equipment from a building near Rotary Park.  When the officer arrived on scene the suspects were gone, but he located a hedge trimmer, a chainsaw and a leaf blower hidden in the tall grass by the creek. He also located two weed trimmers on the ground by the park restrooms. The tools belonged to the Seventh Day Adventist Church and were determined to have been stolen from a storage area on S.
