Domestic Violence Arrest

On 03-18-18, just before 12:22 AM, Sonora Police Department Officers responded to the area of Theall Street and South Washington Street for a report of a domestic violence incident.  Officers located the involved parties near the Office Bar (155 S. Washington Street). Through their investigation, officers determined that Solomon Ray Storment, age 32 of Sonora,  choked his wife during an argument and shoved her backwards into a brick wall, leaving a lump on the back of her head, swelling above her right eye, and marks on her collar bone and left cheek.  The victim declined medical assistance at the scene. Storment was arrested on Theall Street for felony domestic battery with injury and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail.
