Subject: Drug arrest
13 July 2010, at approx. 2:09 am, an officer from the Sonora Police Department stopped a car at the intersection of Highway 108 and Lime Kiln for a mechanical violation. The officer contacted the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, who was identified as Robin Ratcliff, 35, of Sonora.
During a search of Ratcliff’s purse, a syringe loaded with methamphetamine was located, along with a marijuana cigarette. A search of Ratcliff’s vehicle yielded 5.3 grams of methamphetamine, two more syringes and other drug paraphernalia.
Ratcliff was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail. Ratcliff was booked for;
Felony transportation of a controlled substance
Felony possession of a controlled substance
Misdemeanor possession of hypodermic syringe
Misdemeanor possession of controlled substance paraphernalia
