5 February 2011, at approx. 5:50 pm, an Officer from the Sonora Police Department stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Stewart and Bradford Streets; because it was displaying a false registration tab.
The Officer contacted the driver and occupants of the vehicle and recognized one of the passengers as Marsha Guinn, 36 of Sonora. The Officer recognized Guinn, as he had arrested her on 7 Jan. 2011, for possession of methamphetamine.
As the officer was conducting warrant checks on the occupants of the vehicle, he observed Guinn to remove something from her sweatshirt pocket and place it under her seat. The Officer recovered the item, which was a black bag that contained methamphetamine.
Guinn was taken into custody without incident. She was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for felony possession of a controlled substance.
