13 April 2011, at approx. 11:48 pm, an Officer from the Sonora Police Department stopped a 95 Chevy Monte Carlo for speeding on Greenley Rd. The Officer contacted the driver who was identified as Arnold Tinoco, 19 of Murphys and his 17 year old passenger of Angels Camp.
The Officer smelled a strong order of fresh marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The Officer also observed the 17 year old passenger to hide something inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and 60 grams of marijuana was located. The marijuana was packaged in individual packages and in different quantities.
The 17 year old passenger was cited for concealment of evidence and released to his father. Tinoco was arrested and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for;

Felony furnishing a minor with marijuana
Felony transporting over an ounce of marijuana
Misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor
Misdemeanor driving without a license
