Subject: Drug Arrest

17 June 2011, at approx. 11:26 pm, Officers from the Sonora Police Department were dispatched to the Sonora Gold Lodge regarding someone breaking out windows at the motel. Upon Officers arrival, they were informed that Faith Healy, 22 of Wi-Wuk had broken out a motel room window and had head-butted someone.

An officer located Healy in a room at the motel. While talking with Healy in the doorway of the room, a male subject ran up and attempted to close the door on the officer. The male subject was finally able to push the officer out of the way and close and lock the door.

Other officer’s responded and started attempting to kick the door open, but the male subject had braced himself up against the door. Officers were finally able to enter the room, where they located the male subject attempting to flee out a bathroom window.

During the officers investigation they identified the male subject as Jason Coons, 28 of Sonora. They also discovered that Coons had flushed an unknown amount of narcotics down the toilet. However, there was still methamphetamine, morphine pills, tramadol pills, loaded hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia inside the room. Booth Coons and Healy were arrested and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked.

• Felony possession of a controlled substance
• Felony possession of a controlled narcotic
• Felony committing a crime while out on an O/R release
• Misdemeanor battery
• Misdemeanor vandalism
• Misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia

Some of the charges Coons was booked for were;

• Felony possession of a controlled substance
• Felony possession of a controlled narcotic
• Felony parole violation
• Felony destruction of evidence
• Misdemeanor battery on an officer
• Misdemeanor resisting arrest
