Subject: Drug Arrest

16 September 16, at 9:00 am, an officer stopped a 1999 VW Passat on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road, as the driver was not wearing his seatbelt. The officer contacted the driver, and sol occupant of the vehicle, who was identified as Kenneth David Freeman Jr., 21 of Colorado. A very strong odor of fresh marijuana could be smelled inside the vehicle. Freeman Jr., was very agitated and nervous as he interacted with the officer.

It was determined Freeman Jr. was driving the vehicle without a valid drivers’ license. He was placed under arrest for the misdemeanor violation. During an inventory search of his vehicle, 332.5 grams (3/4 pounds) of marijuana was located.

Freeman Jr. was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for felony transportation of marijuana for sale, as well as misdemeanor driving without a valid license.
