18 July 2009, at approx. 2:00 am, officers from the Sonora Police Department contacted a group of juveniles at Sonora Express Mart in regards to a possible curfew violation.
During the officer’s contact with the juveniles, a 15 year old juvenile from Sonora, was determined to be in possession of 2 grams of cocaine. The juvenile was taken into custody and turned over to the Tuolumne County Probation Department for the violations of;
Felony possession of a controlled substance
Felony transportation of a controlled substance
Misdemeanor curfew violation
