Subject: Embezzlement Arrest
20 Aug. 2010, an officer from the Sonora Police Department met with a Loss Prevention Investigator from Kragen Auto Parts. The investigator informed the officer that he had been conducting an investigation into missing funds, which involved one of the Sonora Kragen employee’s. The employee was identified as William Glover, 29, of Oakdale.
During the investigators investigation, he determined that between June 2010 and Aug. 2010, Glover had made several illegal purchases and return transactions totaling in excess of $2,700. These transactions were captured on video tape.
The officer contacted Glover, who admitted to the embezzlement. Glover was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for embezzlement.
