Subject: Felony Vandalism Arrest

7 October 2015, at approx. 3:35 AM, an officer conducting a patrol check of Lowe’s, located at 120 Old Wards Ferry Road, noticed a large number of items in front of the store had been broken and strewn about the parking lot. The items included; gas and charcoal grills, wood splitters, wood chippers, picnic tables, and a large number of pottery planters. All of the items had been forcefully knocked over and deliberately damaged.

The officer had observed Jeffrey Little, 61, a transient, in the area a few hours earlier. Lowe’s surveillance footage shows Little damaging the items in front of Lowe’s at approx. 12:30 AM. Little was out on bail for felony vandalism, and on felony probation for criminal threats. Little is also the suspect in the flooding vandalism of the old Tuolumne County Hospital.

At approx. 4:30 AM, Little was located and taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for; felony vandalism, felony violation of probation, and felony committing a felony while out on bail. Lowe’s has estimated the damage to be over $2,000.
