16 September 2015, at approx. 10:58 am, emergency personnel responded to Stockton Road for a reported vehicle over the embankment, with the driver possibly trapped inside the vehicle.

It was determined Johnna Lambirth, 21 of Jamestown, was traveling northbound on Stockton Road, north of highway 108, when a deer darted out in front of her vehicle. Lambirth swerved to the right to avoid hitting the deer. Because of her evasive actions to avoid the deer, Lambirth lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle jumped a curb on the east side of the roadway and went down a steep embankment, coming to rest in a drainage area.

Lambirth was not trapped in the vehicle, and only sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. Lambirth declined any medical attention at the scene. Neither drugs or alcohol were a factor in this incident. 9-16 Accident
