20 April 2016, Prevent Child Abuse Tuolumne County, in conjunction with the Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office, and the District Attorney’s Victim/Witness Assistance Program, presented their annual luncheon to celebrate Child Abuse Prevention Month, plus Crime Victims’ Rights Week. The event was held at the Elks Lodge in Sonora.

During this special event several professionals and community members were recognized for their outstanding service to victims, building trust, as well as restoring hope in Tuolumne County. Detective Ibrahim Kahlil of the Sonora Police Department was presented an award for his hard work, plus his dedication for working with sexual assault victims.

Thank you Detective Kahlil for all your hard work and dedication in providing excellent service, not only to sexual assault victims, but to all crime victims as well.
