Subject: Search Warrant

27 July 2016, Officers from the Sonora Police Department, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, Tuolumne County Probation Department, Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office, and California Highway Patrol served a high-risk search warrant at a residence on the 400 block of N. Stewart Street, Sonora CA.

Because of the inherent risks associated with the warrant service, the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team made initial entry and secured the residence. Six people were located inside the residence and detained pending the service of the search warrant.

During the search, officer’s located methamphetamine, plus paraphernalia associated with illegal drug use. After conducting interviews, four people were arrested in connection with items located during the search warrant service.

Austin Smusz, 32 of Sonora was arrested for felony maintaining a drug house, as well as misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Roy Naugle, 31 of Sonora was arrested for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, plus for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant out of Calaveras County for possession of narcotics.

Brook Allen, 22 of Sonora was arrested for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

Ashlianne Palmertree, 36 of Sonora was arrested for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

All subjects were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail.
