13 Aug. 08 at approx. 10:17 pm, officers from the Sonora Police Department responded to the 100 block of Dossi Way regarding a physical altercation between a male and female.
When officers arrived they noticed a stereo from inside the residence on the front porch, which was broken into several pieces. When officers entered the residence, they noticed several picture frames had been broken; a glass coffee table had been broken, there were broken dishes and flower pots all over the floor, and there were two holes in the wall and a large hole in the bedroom door.
Officers contacted the male and female occupants of the residence. The female had blood coming from her nose and her right eye was red and almost swollen shut. The female told officers that her boyfriend, Jack Donald Martin 26 of Sonora, had become angry for some unknown reason and the next thing she could remember was waking up with a bloody nose and a swollen eye. The female victim related that her boyfriend had destroyed the house and punched holes in the walls.
Sonora Fire Department responded and checked the female since she had lost consciousness during the altercation. The female decided to seek her own medical treatment for her injuries and not be transported by ambulance.
Martin was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for;
