Sonora Robbery

On 12-18-2017, just before 12:00 P.M., Sonora Police Officers were dispatched to take a robbery report. The victim met with officers at the Sonora Police Department and reported that on 12-18-2017, around 10:30 A.M., she was driving her vehicle near the intersection of Greenley Road and Lyons Street. The victim pulled her vehicle over and was approached by four subjects. Three of the subjects were males who were riding scooters and one was a female who was riding a skateboard. One male was described as being in his early 20’s with visible tattoos on both arms. The other two males and female were described as being in their mid to late teens.

One subject pushed the victim to the ground and stepped on one of her hands. One suspect removed the victim’s cell phone from the victim’s pocket and stole the cell phone. Another suspect stole a small quantity of cash from the victim’s purse.

The suspects then left the area. The female victim received minor injuries to her hand, but declined medical attention.

Officers searched the Greenley Road area for the suspects, with negative results. The Sonora Police Department is asking the public to report any information in regards to this incident.
