Subject: Suspicious Circumstances
16 Nov. 2010, at approx. 1:52 pm, the Sonora Police Department was contacted by a school official from Sonora Elementary School; who advised that two students had been approached at a bus stop by two subjects, who offered them a ride to school.
An officer contacted the two students. The students claimed that sometime between 8:20 am and 8:30 am, a newer dark blue vehicle with rear tinted windows pulled up to their bus stop at the intersection of Snell St. and Spring Hill Rd. and stopped.
There were two subjects inside the vehicle, a female driver and a male passenger, both had brown hair and were between 20 & 30 years of age. The male passenger asked the students if they wanted a ride, as the bus was not coming today. When the children refused the subject repeated himself. When the students refused again, the vehicle left the area and traveled up Spring Hill Rd.
Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to call the Sonora Police Department at 532-8141.
