Subject: Vehicle Accident

7 October 2016, at approx. 7:40 am, emergency personnel responded to the area of 127 West Jackson Street for a vehicle accident. It was reported a vehicle had driven off an embankment, and a subject was trapped inside.

During the investigation, it was determined Elizabeth Loll, 85 of Sonora, had pulled into the parking lot. Then for some unknown reason, she accelerated her Ford Explorer, driving off a retaining wall. Her vehicle came to rest on its roof, in a lower parking lot.

After Loll was removed from her vehicle, she was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Alcohol, nor drugs were a factor.
