Weapons and Trespassing Arrest

On January 22, 2018, around 4:45 a.m., A Sonora Police Officer responded to the Inns of California (350 S. Washington Street) for a report of a male subject causing a disturbance. The Officer arrived and received information the subject causing the disturbance was identified as Joshua Jackson Murray, 38 years old of Sonora. The Officer was advised that Murray had been trespassed by management earlier that same morning and was requested to leave the property by Sonora Police Officers.

The Officer located Murray on the property and placed him under arrest for trespassing. During a search of Murray, the Officer located a concealed fixed blade knife on Murray’s person. Murray was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for trespassing and possession of a concealed dirk or dagger, a felony.
