13 January 2016, at approx. 6:14 P.M., Officers responded to a single vehicle accident at 200 Greenley Road.

Linda Anderson, 62 of Sonora, had been traveling southbound on Greenley Road, when she attempted to turn into the parking lot of 200 Greenley Road, at a very high rate of speed. Due to her excessive speed, she was unable to negotiate the turn and collided with the rear of a parked, unoccupied, truck.

Anderson’s vehicle sustained substantial damage as of the result of the collision. Anderson herself sustained major injuries and was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in this collision and the investigation is ongoing.
