Grand Theft – More Charges for Andrew Tolley

On 10-November 2016, 37-year-old Andrew Tolley of Stockton California was one of three subjects arrested for possessing and/or passing counterfeit money, conspiracy and drug-related crimes. Based on suspicious property located by officers during the original investigation, officers were eventually able to link Tolley to a grand theft at the Sonora Walmart earlier that day.

It was determined that approximately one hour prior to his original arrest; Tolley entered Walmart and loaded a shopping cart with electronic merchandise. Tolley then pushed the cart containing over $1,000 of merchandise out of the store. He was in still possession of the property during our initial contact with him, but the theft was unreported at that time. The stolen merchandise was recovered by the reporting officer and Tolley was booked on Grand Theft charges Friday afternoon. He is being held on $30,000 bail for this crime.
