19 June 2015, an officer responded to an apartment complex located at 250 Greenley Road, regarding a reported animal cruelty incident. The officer contacted the manager who reported their surveillance cameras captured an animal cruelty incident, which had occurred on their property.

14 June 2015, at approx. 7:09 pm, officers from the Sonora Police Department responded to Subway Sandwiches, located at 665 S. Washington Street, regarding someone attempting to run over a clerk from the business.
SPOA Award
On 06/10/2015, the Sonora Police Officer’s Association showed their appreciation to Steve Kane of The Sportsman, located in downtown Sonora. Steve and his staff reported that Aaron Scott Jess was attempting to sell stolen ammunition and body armor to The Sportsman. The ammunition in question was stolen from the Sonora Police Department’s ammunition storage facility.
